Tours 

Tours, the ancient Gallo-Roman city and thereafter the capital of the French kingdom is
located in the center of the famous Loire Valley combining art and history.

 

Its exceptional location is in close proximity to the main INRA Poultry research unit and with its cultural heritage, famous renaissance chateaux, renowned cuisine and "art de vivre", Tours, now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is no doubt a city of captivating charm.

 

It is the capital of the region which is known as "the garden of France", and is ideally located in the heart of this Valley of Kings with many architectural treasures to be found within an 80 km radius. It is a region also known for the art of living, gastronomy, culture and history.

 

Situated at the heart of a European communication network, Tours is an important crossroads in the center of France.  The TGV high speed train puts Tours at only 55 minutes from the centre of Paris allowing direct connections to all the major airports and a modern motorway system facilitates access by bus and car.
